The collective ANN SAM BELL was established in 2019 by Nelly Winterhalder and presents theatre performances in Norway and Germany.

The collective brings together artists with diverse backgrounds, aesthetics, and modes of expression. Together they explore themes and questions of our time, situated in the tension between the personal and the political.
Their work plays with concepts of identity and linearity. ANN SAM BELL embraces the absurd, the vulnerable, and the humorous as artistic strategies, creating through listening, questioning, experimenting, failing, and playing.
The goal is to create art that opens spaces - both for the involved artists and for the audience - for new perspectives, unexpected connections, and human recognition.
